Terms of Use

Including the personal-use license for Know & Keep digital products

Last updated: August 31, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to knowandkeep.com (the "Site") and your use or purchase of content, free resources, and digital products provided by Know & Keep, operated by Catina Henley ("Know & Keep," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing the Site, requesting a resource, or purchasing or using a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our materials.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live to make a purchase. If you use the Site for or on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that person or organization.

2. Educational purpose; no professional relationship

Know & Keep provides general educational tools for organizing and locating household information. The Site and products do not provide legal, estate-planning, financial, tax, accounting, medical, insurance, cybersecurity, emergency-response, or other professional advice. Using our materials does not create an attorney-client, adviser-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. See our Disclaimer for more information.

3. Digital products and delivery

Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, Know & Keep products are digital downloads delivered electronically. No physical binder, paper, printer ink, tab hardware, storage device, or shipped product is included. You are responsible for having compatible software, a suitable device, internet access, and any printer or supplies you choose to use.

4. Personal-use license

When you lawfully obtain a free or paid Know & Keep product, we grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use that product for personal, noncommercial use within one household. Ownership of the product and all intellectual-property rights remain with Know & Keep.

This license allows you to:

  • download and save a reasonable number of backup copies for your own household;

  • print copies for use by members of your household;

  • complete the pages with your household's information; and

  • share completed pages or the completed household binder with trusted family members, caregivers, or professionals when you decide that sharing is appropriate.

This license does not allow you to:

  • share, email, upload, post, or distribute blank or substantially blank templates outside your household;

  • resell, sublicense, rent, give away, or commercially exploit the product;

  • copy or adapt the product to create a competing product, client deliverable, template, course, membership resource, lead magnet, or other commercial offering;

  • remove or obscure copyright, trademark, branding, or ownership notices; or

  • claim the product or its design, copy, framework, or organization as your own.

If another household wants blank copies, please direct them to knowandkeep.com to obtain their own license. Contact us for written permission before any use not expressly allowed above.

5. Orders, prices, and payment

Prices and product descriptions are shown on the Site and may change at any time before purchase. You agree to provide accurate purchase and contact information and authorize the displayed charges, including applicable taxes. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We may cancel or refund an order affected by a technical error, suspected fraud, unauthorized use, or a material pricing or description error.

6. Refunds

Because digital products are made available immediately, purchases are final once access or delivery begins, except for duplicate charges, defective or unusable files, delivery failures we cannot correct, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Our Digital Delivery & Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

7. Your responsibility for household information

You decide what information to record, where to store it, and who may access it. Know & Keep does not review or safeguard the information you enter into a downloaded or printed product. Do not write passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers, full account numbers, security codes, or similarly sensitive information in an unsecured printable. Consider using secure references, masked numbers, a reputable password manager, and professional advice appropriate to your circumstances.

You are responsible for keeping completed materials accurate, current, physically secure, and accessible only to people you trust.

8. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including product names, copy, templates, layouts, graphics, logos, downloads, photographs, videos, and the compilation and arrangement of materials, are owned by or licensed to Know & Keep and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 4, no right, title, or interest is transferred to you.

9. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use the Site or products for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes;

  • interfere with security or operation of the Site;

  • attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;

  • use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or copy Site content except as permitted by law;

  • introduce malware or harmful code; or

  • misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority.

10. Third-party links and services

The Site may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, products, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, terms, privacy practices, or performance. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a product will meet every household's needs, or that using a product will prevent missed obligations, losses, emergencies, disputes, security incidents, or other outcomes. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement, except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Know & Keep and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, privacy, or goodwill arising from the Site or products. Our total liability for a claim related to a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

13. Suspension or termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the Site or a product license if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, subject to applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability, and governing-law provisions, will survive.

14. Changes to the Site or Terms

We may change or discontinue features, content, products, or prices. We may also update these Terms. The revised Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Mobile County, Alabama, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute by written notice.

16. General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign our rights in connection with a business transfer. These Terms, together with policies incorporated by reference, are the entire agreement concerning their subject matter.

17. Contact
