The Could Your Family Find It? Family Find-It Check is a simple five-page printable assessment that helps you identify where your household may still be relying on one person to remember, explain, or locate important information.

Inside, you’ll work through 30 practical questions covering four areas:

• Find: Could they locate the information?

• Hand Off: Could they understand it and step in?

• Keep: Is the information still current?

You’ll also create a quick Family Find-It Snapshot, identify the three gaps most likely to cause confusion, and choose one manageable step to take this week.

This check does not ask you to record passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers, or complete account numbers. Its purpose is to help you recognize what someone else may need to know and where clearer instructions could help.
